OUR STORY

At Mind-Set Mentoring we aim to personalize every session to meet the needs of our students, and focus on areas in which the student has the potential to improve. Each session is flexible and designed to work with the student to not only complete their daily tasks, but guide them from novice to professional. We do that in the most effective way possible—mastering the subject area and building lifelong, professional confidence.

Mentor

Emily Rose

Emily is a dedicated and experienced transition special education teacher with a focus on preparing students with disabilities for life beyond high school. With a background in supporting students in developing essential life skills, vocational training, and independent living abilities, Emily  has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities faced by individuals with special needs during the transition to adulthood.

 

Motivated by her passion for empowering students with disabilities to achieve their full potential and lead fulfilling lives, Emily  has decided to leverage her expertise and launch her own mentoring company. Through personalized and targeted instruction, Emily’s mentoring services aim to support students in developing the skills and confidence needed to navigate the transition to post-secondary education, employment, and independent living.

 

With a compassionate and student-centered approach, Emily’s is committed to providing individualized support and guidance to help students with disabilities thrive in their personal pursuits. Her dedication to fostering independence, self-advocacy, and success in her students makes her a valuable resource for families seeking specialized mentoring services tailored to the unique needs of individuals in transition special education programs.
